Third Thursday Demo Featuring Fiber Artist Susan Brooks
It's Downtown Boulder's Third Thursday Art Walk from 5:00 until 8:00PM. A great way to kick it off is by visiting Sanctuary Art Gallery! In addition to the beautiful "Celebrating Women" Art Exhibit, we are presenting a fantastic art demo. Fiber artist Susan Brooks paints fabric with thickened dyes. She uses a specialized method called deconstructed silk screening. She will demonstrate how to paint onto the silk screen, then once it dries, print multiple images, each pull being a little different as the paint decomposes. Come join her on the porch of the First United Methodist Church, just outside the Sanctuary Art Gallery for an informative and fun demonstration.
